Kirsten foot washington

Prior to joining the faculty at the U. She has researched the production of electoral web spheres in the U. In her current research, she brings her expertise on organizing processes and digital technologies to bear in studying worldwide efforts to combat human trafficking, and multi-sector collaboration in the anti-human trafficking movement in the U. Is bad at taking to people from different backgrounds!!!! Graded by few things Tough grader. Mar 17th, This is the worst professor I have ever had during my UW experience.

She likes to hear herself talk, and if you interrupt her lecture with something as silly as a question you will be scolded. She almost never asks for student feedback and is rude to nearly everyone in class. Lots of homework Skip class? Lecture heavy. Mar 1st, You can do everything right but if you ask a questions she'll use a rude tone and make you feel stupid.

Jan 6th, Feb 12th, She is a rude human being. Disrespects her students by making them feel dumb. She gives you roughly only ten minutes in class to finish group assignments which was not enough. Dec 8th, She has very clear expectations from the start of class. Everything is well-organized and laid out for you. The class material was actually really interesting and easy to grasp.

However, she's condescending and whenever you ask her questions and makes you seem dumb when all you want is clarification. In-class activities were annoying but doable Group projects Tough grader. Dec 4th, Professor Foot is unnecessarily strict, gives out tons of busy work, and she isn't flexible at all for improving grades.

She is also super condescending and rude to her students, which makes it even harder to learn the material. She's super hot and cold and handles problems immaturely. I wouldn't recommend this class to anyone. Lots of homework Group projects Tough grader. She currently studies hope-based journalism on trafficking, and counter-trafficking coalitions in Global South countries.

She is an advisor to Ten Thousand Windows, and on the editorial board of the international Journal of Human Trafficking. She teaches courses on topics such as organizational communication, multisector collaboration for social change, qualitative research methods, and human trafficking.
