I am a collector, restorer and re-seller of vintage audio equipment. My love of this stuff comes from teenage years listening to ball games on summer evenings on an old AM radio.

Audiowright is a person who repairs or maintains audio equipment. Audio repairs are generally unique to each unit. We have looked at flat rate pricing but found it impractical due to the lack of reoccurring problems, even among the same model number of unit.

The only way to make flat rate pricing work for a company is to place those prices higher than they would normally be in order to cover themselves.

Free estimates are along the same lines. A free estimate is generally an educated guess or sometimes just a guess. Again, that guess is going to be higher that normal to cover themselves. We have found the fairest way for all parties, is to give an estimate on each unit. We charge an estimate fee on every unit. A technician will diagnose and estimate the repair. The technician will then contact you to discuss the next course of action. You can either accept or decline the estimate.

If you accept, your unit will then be repaired as soon as possible. The estimate fee does apply to the repair If you decline, your unit will be put back together. We can adjust your piece and give it a check up right at the front counter while you wait for free! Just ask for the turntable spec check. If your turntable needs a belt or a needle we will install it for you right then and there.

If your turn table needs more attention, we can do that too. We have been working on turntables for over 20 years and can repair them all. Older pieces with idler wheels to more modern tables with direct drive. We stock needles and cartridges for many brands and we are adding to our inventory every day.

We are an authorized Grado dealer and we also sell Audio Technica. We even have a limited supply of new old stock idler wheels. We carry a line of phono pre-amps, and record washer kits. Think of Stereo Lab when you think of your turntable needs. We can repair your Victrola or Grammophone too! Edison cylinder players, crank record players, early AC tables and more. We work with partners to re-spring and re-condition old player motors. Note: if you have a large PA speaker you wish to have repaired, we will only accept it if it is out of the cabinet. We do not repair the amps, only the speakers. We do not repair: home theater systems, car audio, powered sub woofers.
