Stupid or smart cleveland show

After the show, when Loretta gave custody of Cleveland Jr. On their way there, they decided to live in Stoolbend instead, where Cleveland married Donna Tubbs, and Rallo and Roberta became his step-siblings. Here, Cleveland Jr. When Rallo met Cleveland Jr. He also seems to have a fear of toasters because the toaster in his house scares and taunts him. His relationship with Donna is quite well despite her being his step-mother but he treats her as if she was his mother as he never seems to argue or treat her badly like Rallo does to Cleveland , and is quick to do whatever she wishes.

When it is revealed in " Birth of a Salesman " that he has repressed emotions from the divorce of his parents and has in fact never cried before, his new siblings help him to express his sadness and at the same time the three of them accepted one another as family. In a preview of the show, he says, "I can eat this and a salad," and Cleveland replies with, "A salad would be a good start," possibly meaning he's encouraging him to go on a diet.

However, it could also simply be some sarcastic remark to Cleveland Jr. All of that being said, if the opening scene of the premiere episode of The Cleveland Show , the Family Guy spin-off that begins as an episode of Family Guy before spinning-off, and of which this is supposedly an early review, is any indication, that show has actually gotten worse, and I am worried that it is taking so long for our descendants to plunge this thing face first into the fucking water.

We should all be having a lot more babies, you guys. So that they can learn. So that they can bury it. This is the opening scene of the premiere episode of the Cleveland Show , when it is still basically an episode of Family Guy , right before it spins-off:. A dull Saran Wrap condom non-joke followed by a casually tossed-off racist remark, and ending with a Kathleen Turner zing?

This is an early review of The Cleveland Show. Which is basically Black Family Guy. And never gets any better than that opening scene. You do the math. Super legal. This Professional Internet Colleague included a note with this information:. If you actually download and watch the leaked pilot of The Cleveland Show, you care about your job more than I. This is one of the laziest shows that I have ever seen in my life.

It appears to have been written in about 10 seconds, on the back of a urinal cake, in urine. GET IT? And there is a bear?? What's the point? A sign of creativity? Or for hitting some difference than many similar shows? Anyway, it doesn't work. And I mean the bear, and the show as well! Eventually it didn't make it to the rank of lousy black Simpsons, it's just lousy. Actually the difference between it and The Simpsons is the same between dead and alive.

The Cleveland Show has nothing to show but ugly sex, frank violence and no comedy all under the name of comedy. It's rare indeed when I find a show with no worth watching element like this. Maybe it fits one purpose, and oh how it fits it greatly, which is being a study about monotony visually and sonically in drama and cartoon!

This is torturing. How it's still on air is yet more torturing! I have been a Family Guy fan since even before it got cancelled in I have seen pretty much every episode and it's one of my favorite shows.

Cleveland is hilarious at times, but I did not know how a spin off concentrating on him would turn out. It's been on for a few months now and it's decent. Still not as hilarious as Family Guy, but does have some clever jokes, funny characters and situations just like Family Guy did. It's a bit better than American Dad in my opinion. If you like Family Guy, this show is worth a look! Okonh0wp 14 October On Family Guy, Cleveland Brown has never served much purpose besides being a token black character as far as I've been concerned.

Obviously, Mike Henry disagrees. Henry is the white actor who voices Cleveland and when he talks about his excitement for centering a spin off around the Cleveland character, it seems apparent how proud he is of his own creation. What exactly Cleveland's unique mannerisms are, beyond being a little timid, that make him worth watching, I'm not sure.

He's certainly never been a great source of humor. Fortunately, there are some unique characters in the background: Cleveland's son, Cleveland Jr. The wife, Donna, is the heart of the show. The show advertises itself as the sappier and more heartwarming spin off of Family Guy and there's just a little bit of that gooey feeling to be found within the story of Cleveland and Donna being reunited as a married couple.

Cleveland and his three neighbors two white guys of various socio-economic levels and an animatronic bear form a social group that's almost a virtual clone of the quartet that drinks at Quahog's Drunken Clam which wasn't a good idea if the show wanted to set itself apart.

The bear is nowhere near as funny as Roger the alien, Klauss the fish or Brian, the dog. The setting and the fact that this will be a fairly faithful take on the black sitcom as faithful as white writers can be might also be seen as a plus or a minus, but it's interesting enough to find out. Never before has a show been so out of touch with all potential audiences. Its ridiculous episodic plots were blatantly embarrassing to watch and the fact that it lasted that many seasons is nothing short of a miracle.

I feel bad for fantastic voice actors such as Kevin Richardson having their talents wasted on this abortion. A common "joke" was having Cleveland the father of the family getting abused and assaulted by his wife Donna to no comedic effect, it was just something that some beta idiot or hateful feminist somewhere in the staff room decided to push for in most of the last seasons. Imagine if the genders were reversed, how "funny" would that repetitive plot point be? It wasn't funny originally either.

One down, two to go. Very stupid show, with stupid and unlikeable characters. I just can't see why so many people like this show, it is easily one of the worst shows ever made, along with "Mystery Science Teather " and "House M.

It was a complete waste of time, from beginning to end. The cultural references were lame, most of the jokes were unfunny and offensive, and all about this show sucked. This show is worthless. I only saw some episodes of this trash and I hated them. What happened with good, clean comedies like "El Chavo del Ocho"? This show is a dirty shame. Cleveland is another example of those supporting characters who are really powerful or funny when playing the role they were designed for--but not interesting enough to devote an entire spin-off show to.

Cleveland is funny, and this show is still pretty watchable overall, but it isn't nearly as good as Family Guy or South Park. I think MacFarlane has replicated the funny family scenario about enough. We still watch Cleveland Show re-runs occasionally, and it has the Family guy stamp on it, so it is fun, but not really the outrageous hit that the original show provides. They are funny, but the formula gets a bit redundant.

Still a good show, just not great. And by smart, I mean using basic common sense and my own understanding of Black people because many of my relatives are Black! When spoofing, it helps when audience knows what's being made fun of. This show really makes sense if you know black culture.

Family guy is great, but it doesn't make me laugh as hard as Cleveland show or Roger from American dad. Roger smith is the funniest Seth Macfarlane animation. By far! Some say the red neck is dumb! He's dumb! Some fool said The show is offensive?! Family guy makes fun of Jews all the time. How is this show offensive? And how is that new as all Seth Macfarlane cartoons are crude and offensive?! Weak minds give this show bad reviews. I'm Half Black! I also understand Comedy!

If it makes me laugh, it's okay! I saw a family guy clip of an Asian female driver cutting across 5 lanes and all cars exploded and crashed.

It was hilarious because my mom is half Chinese and she really can't drive! But I loathe when weak minded fools ruin things because their small minds can't expand enough to grasp a concept that's presented so greatly. This show is Very accurate to southerners I'm also from the south and black people.

Maybe I connect because of those aspects, but I don't think you have to be black or from the south to understand this show. To all the weak minded, uptight fools bashing this show, watch the re runs on adult swim or internet and realize how wrong you are. And stop being so uptight and learn to laugh. I suppose many haters of this show laugh very hard at Stale stuff like The office and arrested development, but they get confused by REAL comedy!

I don't think this review contains any specific details, so no spoilers. It's a great show. Every episode makes me laugh. Not every family guy or American dad episode makes me laugh. Maybe I'm more reacting to Cleveland show than the other shows, maybe it's actually funnier than the other Macfarlane shows.

Open your small minds. Learn something. So The Cleveland Show. I used to like it, but jeez, was that show unfunny and annoying! The jokes are not that perfect, they're just stupid as hell, Cleveland became an annoying person, and some of the characters are bland and some are very loathsome I'm talking to you, Federline Jones, I hate you so much, you piece of crap!

The Cleveland Show is among the worst animated spin-offs I have ever watched and I can't believe I used to like it, but oh boy, Planet Sheen is way god awful than this. Give this one a 4. Even though I liked American Dad and especially family guy better than The Cleveland show, I was still a little disappointed that it was canceled. I really liked the family. His kids are quirky, but actually pretty smart.

As usual Cleveland, the dad, is the dumbest person in the show. I think my favorite characters are Rollo and Cleveland Jr. Cleveland Jr. All of Seth McFarlane's shows and movies are clever and have random weird humor in them.

I am definitely a fan of his stuff and I would definitely Netflix this show if you liked anything else he's done. I never thought I'd say this I normally like everything he does. He's obviously trying to appeal to a demographic that he really can't understand.

And frankly, even if he could, this show is terrible. No matter which way you look at it. This show made me want to change the channel halfway through.

Extremely stereotypical. I feel bad for him that its so bad. This show isn't going to last a second season. Just-Being-Me 5 March OK so who thought it would be a good idea to take the most boring person on Family guy and make a full show about him? I really dislike this show, it is so boring, i don't understand why they made a show about Cleveland.

C'mon what were they thinking?. Why not make one of Quagmire instead or even a Stewie and Brian show that would probably be the best one , a character that is actually funny and fun to watch.
